The service
Heavy equipment inspections before you bid.
Bidwise is not an auction house. We inspect machines at the yard so bidders know the condition before they spend a day on the road. Reports are à la carte ($50 for a completed file) or by package credit (request lots ahead of the sale, or unlock a listed report).
What we grade
- Engine appearance, sound, blow by etc
- Operation
- Hydraulics
- Undercarriage
- Pins & bushings
- Wheels / tires
- Cosmetics / appearance
Each system is 1–10 when we can test it. Unable to test is marked that way, with notes when we have them. Same checklist on every machine.
Equipment we inspect
Excavator
Excavators get a walkaround plus what we can run on the yard: engine appearance and sound, hydraulics, swing as far as the yard allows, undercarriage, pins and bushings, and cosmetics.
Compact excavator
Compact excavators are the same graded systems, scaled to the machine. Tight auction rows still limit some tests — we note that instead of guessing a 1–10.
Compact track loader
Compact track loaders: operation, hydraulics, undercarriage, and how the machine actually sounds. Catalog hours and a washed machine are not the report.
Skid steer
Skid steers and wheel loaders: tires or tracks, pins, hydraulics, and cosmetics. If a system could not be tested, the grade shows untested — with notes if we have them.
Dozer
Dozers: undercarriage and operation matter as much as paint. We grade what we can see and run in the confined space of an auction yard.
